Founding Partner of AVIAPLAN LLC has presented to and successfully defended the outcome and recommendations of the firm’s Study on the Prospects of Poltava Airport development and its optimal strategy at the Assembly of Poltava Regional Council on January 29th, 2016. A number of questions have been also asked by local public invited to the Assembly to monitor the decision making process by the regional authorities. Both Chairman of Poltava Regional State Administration Mr Golovko and Poltava Regional Council Mr Bilenkiy have co-chaired the Assembly. Finally the majority of Regional Council members have positively voted on the recommendations of AVIAPLAN LLC on strategy for Poltava Airport (Council Decision N36 as of 29 January 2016)

The leadership of the Poltava Regional State Administration (PRSA) and Poltava Airport hosted a meeting on May 25th, 2015 with Founding Partner of AVIAPLAN LLC Mr Treskunov and President of the Association “Airports of Ukraine ” CA (AAUCA) Mr Lypovenko. Following the meeting the parties agreed to proceed with the Study on the potential of air traffic development and identifying the right strategy for the airport of Poltava. Among other tasks for AVIAPLAN’s survey PRSA has identified the aircraft maintenance and air cargo services at the airport. The leadership of PRSA is supposed to investigate and propose the optimal solution to hire AVIAPLAN’s experts to perform such a study
